Home Sweet Home

We are home. The garden is lush and exploding with vegetables. Who would have thought so after that terrible hale storm in June???

The kids are playing with their toys, watching their favorite shows on the telly. Jay is weeding and harvesting. I am cleaning up around the flower beds and unpacking. The washing machine goes on full speed still. We indulge in late breakfasts on our days off and eat healthy dinners made from our own grown vegetables. Life is good.

We had an amazing lightning storm the other night. I've never seen something like it. I heard it was over 40,000 lightnings in 15 minutes!!! You can imagine. I felt like a celebrity on the red carpet getting blind from all the flashes when running out in my night gown at 3am in the morning to save the laundry on the clothes line. Who does that anyway? Run out in the night to save the laundry I mean. Is it only me being so fanatic about my dear laundry???

Vacation was fab-fantastic, intense, chaotic, wonderful. Do to technical problems I haven't been able to download any pictures... So an Instagram collage will do to just check in and say  "Hi - I am here!!!". It is good to be back after 3 weeks of Cyber World withdrawal.

It is great to be back. Slowly I will get back into my blogging routine. I am also processing Tilda yarn orders that has been waiting. Thanks for being so patient. The Yarn Shop is open, make your order today and I will ship it next week together with the other orders.

    1. Dear Nonna,
Thank you! School starts 27th of August. We still have some time to hang out and do nothing. :D We went to Sweden for 3 weeks visiting my family. It was fabulous. But a bit hectic. I could really need another vacation to recover form the previous one. Ha ha ha.
      Thanks for popping in.

  7. Happy to hear you are back from vacation. Our little garden is also doing well like yours. We have had a cooler August here in the North of US. It's usually warm and humid. We got some rain last night which was marvelous. I would love to order some yarn but I would like to know how much it costs to ship. It looks so lovely ! I will check on that and see. Have a great weekend!! Hugs from Central/North US.

    1. Hello Angela
How nice. Nothing beats a meal made from your own vegetables right? I find myself very lucky to be able to send my kids out to get " 8 carrots, a bowl of green beans, 2 plants of potatoes, a bowl of lettuce..." for dinner. It is the greatest gift I can give my children. :D

Happy to hear you would like to order some Tilda yarn. You will find all shipping information and more on my Yarn Shop page.

      http://myrosevalley.blogspot.ch/p/my-shop.html

I am just re-opening and are planning to announce a "Tilda test package" for those who are curious to just try it. It will be 4 balls of your choice for 22 USD including shipping (original price 32 USD).

Looking forward to hear from you and to take your order. You will not regret it. It is such a lovely yarn to work with. And high quality as well.

All the best and thanks for popping in.
