More ways of joining squares

Today is a quick sharing of some more excellent ways of joining squares. The blog Knot Your Nana's Crochet shares 10 ways of joining granny squares with links to tutorials. It is an excellent blog post and I am honored to be a part of it as she has included my Join-As-You-Go tutorial. Please pop over to have a look at something different like the Flat braid joining, the Chain joining or the Scallop joining. I will certainly use a new way of joining squares in a future project to add a different twist to it.

Happy hooking.

  1. I am contemplating this exact link as I'm still pondering what exact join to use for my still-be-done summer throw. Five test squares have been completed and sewed together, but I'm not yet happy, so may have to find a new square to use with the simulated braid join!

  4. Hi, great options for joining squares. I wanted to do the flat braid, but then the scallop join is a bit faster/easier. I'm not so great at following written directions, and can't seem to find a video showing "scallop joining". Anyone know where I can find a step-by-step video? Thanks!
