One of my crochet students wants to purchase this shawl... It is with mixed feelings I am letting it go. I really do love the color theme in this one. But I can always make another one, I keep telling myself...
How about you? Are you finished with your versions of the Nordic shawl? I would love to see. I am collecting pictures from you all for an upcoming Nordic Shawl potpurri. Depending on the colors you chose for this shawl it can be anything from classy to eclectic, pretty to cool. Show me, show me, show me pleeeease! And if you don't have the pattern you can purchase it here.

ReplyDeleteI am working on mine, Annette! I ordered some new yarn for the multi-colored part which should be here Monday. I've been leisurely working on it, not rushing, and just enjoying it a few rows a day. I'll be posting a picture on Ravelry when she's finished. The main color is one that I have not seen anyone use yet. Tease, tease, tease!! :) Love this new one you've shown today.
ReplyDeleteThe colours of your shawl are so beautiful. I am ashamedly behind on my crochet so far this year. I seriously need to rectify this! Have a wonderful weekend. xx
ReplyDeleteLove the colors you have used in this one

It looks beautiful, I can quite see why your student wanted to buy it from you, although I am not sure that I could have been able to part with it if I had made it! I have my yarn ready, but haven't got the pattern yet, and I have a massive blanket to finish first, so I am holding off getting the pattern so that I don't get distracted! xx

ReplyDeleteI truly enjoy your blog and crochet. Your beautiful shawl, along with Lucy's poncho on attic24, inspired me with my poncho. Thank you! http://www.flickr.com/photos/craftygal/12812322085/

A beautiful shawl! I love the colours, a cooler contrast to your first one with its warm beige...I hope I remembered to email you photos of my shawl! http://chrissiecrafts.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/nordic-shawl-ta-dah.html

I love the colours in this shawl.
ReplyDeleteIt is quite difficult to let things go when you have made them.

It's beautiful, I love the colours. :)
ReplyDeleteAm to the part where the different colors come into play.....So far so good ♥♥ LOVE the colors of this one. I can see why your crochet student covenants it :-) Will send pic when complete.
ReplyDeleteYour shawl is beautiful - the colours remind me of strawberries and cream. Thank you for sharing

I finished mine last night. It's lovely. Thank you. Some photos on my blog, as I wasn't sure where you wanted the photos uploaded to. x
ReplyDeleteI love the colors you have chosen for this shawl, Annette. You are a very talented young lady :) The colors remind me very much of Spring.
ReplyDeleteI totally totally love the colours in this shawl. The silverish gray with those bright ones. The red just blends sooo well with the silverish gray. And the border is making it so elegant. I can understand how difficult it is to part with. But do make on for yourself in similar colours.

Jag älskar allt på den där! Mönstret, färgkombon och spetskanten!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely pattern. I look forward to seeing a round up of different colour options :)
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, I don't wonder at you having mixing feeling about selling it. Can you let it go? And how on earth do you put a price on your wonderful creation?
