The silver lining




In less than a few minutes of publishing my last moaning post, things turned around thanks to you. The support and encouragement in your sweet words really made my day. So all I want to say is THANK YOU for being there in good times and bad times. Wednesday might have started off a bit rocky but there was many golden moments to enjoy. Just look at my collection of happy moments:

♥︎ Reading all the wonderful and encouraging comments on that post - You are simply the best!
♥︎ Understanding I'm not alone.
♥︎ Packing and shipping yarn orders and getting inspired by the color choices of my buyers.
♥︎ A nice painting-egg get together with some friends and their girls which ended up in face, and later body painting, for the kids and big dives into our freezing cold fountain - Yeeeps!
♥︎ The beauty of my totally wild and uncontrollable garden in spring blossoms - LOVE!
♥︎ A large bouquet of pink tulips bought at the grocery store.
♥︎ Messages from ladies wanting to attend my Flower crochet workshop on Thursday night.
♥︎ The look of my Maybelle flowers growing in numbers.
♥︎ Another crochet project slowly reaching the finish line...
♥︎ Falling asleep at 8.30 pm on top of my bed sheets in my clothing with my book on my chest and choosing to swop into PJs and continue to sleep.

Wednesday was after all a wonderful day. That proves that there is always a silver lining... It is just a question of seeing it.

    I'm sorry you had a grotty day on Wednesday, my love. I can assure you, you are absolutely not alone and, in my opinion, a bit of a grump on your blog now and again is a good thing. Life isn't always hearts and flowers. Sadly it takes a dark cloud now and again to appreciate a silver lining.

    So glad you're feeling chirpier. xxx

    Hi Annette. I don't know if this will be of any help to you, but a while ago, when my world imploded and I didn't know which way to turn, someone kindly recommended FlyLady.com to me. I haven't looked back. Just a suggestion and it may not be any help but worth a look. Big hugs from England xxxx

    Hi Annette. I missed your post yesterday, but just read it. I can certainly identify. Although my kids are grown, I have cared for my grandson since his birth, 7 years ago. So in essence, I am doing all of the Mommy things again. It is hugely rewarding, but much more tiresome, at age 54, than it was in my 20's when I my kids were small!!!
    And now, I do so many different things as well, that I often feel the same way you do. Over extended, and just plain exhausted. I so enjoy your lovely blog! And today, seeing your Maybelle flowers, makes me want to dig into another Maybelle flower afghan.

    I hope the weather is as it is here in Wales. Sunny, warmish and lots of flowers. Tulips everywhere and sweet smells of daphne. Have fun!
