ReplyDeleteCongratulations and very well done. I think my favourite project to work on has to be something big. Even if it is a granny square, the bigger the better.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!!You must feel so proud, that is amazing.I prefer more decorations,hats,coasters...smaller things that can easily get done quickly.Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove the shawl pattern! I love working on blankets, currently quite a few baby ones as several of my friends are expecting new arrivals shortly!
ReplyDeleteCongrats, that is awesome! I would say I'm still in the small crochet projects category, nothing bigger than a beach bag. I'd love to branch out! andimcgreen@yahoo.co.uk
ReplyDeleteHello, congratulations.
ReplyDeleteI love working on shawls, all sorts of shawls.
Have a nice day!
Thank you for the giveaway...I love that pattern! My favorite things to make are blankets, esp for babies. If there are no new ones in the neighborhood I donate them to the NICU a nurse in the neighborhood works for. It allows me to play with pattern and color!
ReplyDeleteHi Annette,
ReplyDeleteWow, how nice that you are mentioned in my favorite crochet magazine! Congratulations!
I love to crochet all kinds of crochet projects, but if I really have to choose, I choose cosy warm wrap shawls.: -)
Greetings from The Netherlands,
Ingrid
Congratulations. I work on big stuff only. Maybe it is because I started out with a really big ripple blanket......Email id is charulathak@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Wonderful news!! congratulations :-) I like working on granny squares as I can do them in the car on my way to work (my husband drives me hehe), as it's the only time of the day I have to myself, really (sob sob sob)...
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the magazine feature! I enjoy working with cotton crochet thread making scarves and such. (vellemere@yahoo.com)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the publishing! How exciting for you! I love the simplicity of the granny squares and the different colour combos that can be used. Would love to try something a little harder once I perfect the granny square!
Ooh, congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteI'm currently plagued with a bad case of start-itis, so I have a shawl, a hat and a blanket on the go, but I do love shawls/cowls/scarves - they work up reasonably quickly and are both practical and pretty!
Congratulations Annette!!! Well done!
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to make your shawl (I've been watching so many of my blogger friends making shawls!) This would be a lovely switch-up to my afghans and granny squares!
Congratulations on having your shawl featured in Simply Crochet - I am an avid reader of the magazine and it was fun to see your shawl and think 'hey I read that blog!'

Currently doing Bavarian crochet. I love making things for friends. With my leftover bits of yarn I've made blankets for a premature baby unit at a local hospital and also for a local nursing home. carolynhibbert@sky.com

Congratulations! I'm working on shawls as well; getting ready for winter here in the next few months! I have 2 going at the moment but I don't think either are going to be very warm as I'm noticing, now. (hmmm, raising an eyebrow). In between the shawls, and after work at night, I make smaller things; flowers, jewelry, scarfettes and small decorations for my small apartment. Anyhow, I enjoy your blog very much! Congrats again! debi.lord@gmail.com.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, it is great! I love everything, but especially granny squares, there is something so calmingly orderly about them :-)

ReplyDeleteI'm into crochet join-as-you-go motifs at the moment, as I create a blanket.
Hi. I have done one shawl with chunky wool but am always tempted to do your shawl. Love the style and here is Botswana it does get very cold, contrary to popular belief.... Thanks for such a great blog to follow. Take care.

Congrats Annette, you deserve it.

Congratulations on being featured in the magazine! I'm still a bit of a newbie when it comes to crochet, but so far my favourite project has been a shawl. I'm in the middle of working on a blanket at the moment, which I liked at the start but am getting a bit bored with now so maybe I prefer medium-sized projects!
ReplyDeleteSorry, forgot to include my email - it's nightingaleanddolittle@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI would like to crochet the nordic shawl. It is a beautiful pattern!! At the moment I am working on a blanket (wheels within wheels, you can see on Instagram) and some smaller projects (flowers/handbag). I always have more projects to work on! Love it!! gr. Hennie

ReplyDeleteWow! My favorite magazine. It is always so full of inspiration and new (to me) people with such amazing talent. My favorite project is the big, comfy, happy, granny square blanket! I love the whole process for the starting magic loop to the final tuck-in of the last end.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!! Well deserved. :))
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I really love your shawl. Until now I prefer little projects, telephone case or little bags of mini granny squares, but I would love to make something big like your shawl. Greetings Marianne. Mrfaber75@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteWow, that's awesome. Great job getting published!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite projects are shawls and blankets, but I also like a whole range of other patterns. Mostly decoration for the house. I'm not real big on making clothing (except accesories or something small for my kids)
Best wishes from the Netherlands :)
Congrats on the feature. You do such beautiful work and it's great to see you honored in this way. I have a small mention in the issue as well - the wonderful Susie Hewer generously named me as one of her crochet heroes!

How wonderful! Congratulations! I am working on my first crochet project since I was a child... and love it! It will be a granny square blanket, I have 120 squares now and will start putting them together. I have already found a lovely way to finish the blanket in an old crochet book that I have kept for years even though I did not crochet then, so glad a kept it! After this I would love to work on my first shawl!
ReplyDeleteHello, the shawl looks great!
ReplyDeleteI love to crochet beanies and granny squares.
Greetings from Germany (next to Basel).
Well done.
ReplyDeleteI partial to making bags they don't tend to end up as wip, as many other projects do.
Jag älskar att virka allt; stora filtar, sjalar, amigurumi, kuddar, you name it. Problemet är ju bara att slutföra! Jag vill testa allt fint jag ser och väldigt mycket blir liggande halvfärdigt. Så varför inte börja med en Nordic Shawl också! :-) hoppas operationen gick bra!
ReplyDeleteJennie.h.stein@gmail.com
Congratulations! I love working on just about anything, but larger afghans of almost any type are my favorite :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing! nicolespence22 @ hotmail dot com
