The elegant Dala horse

Love at first sight. I purchased this light and elegant Dala horse on a visit to Sigtuna before we flew back home from our latest Sweden trip. I instantly knew I wanted to make something out of its color theme. Sp what would be the project???

Luckily one of my cousins just gave birth to a little girl named Hedvig and the color play has begun. starting out with not less than 13+ colors from my Tilda yarn collection, I am slowly moving, replacing, taking away and adding colors to find the perfect combination. Of course I have to make a baby blanket for Hedvig inspired from this Dala horse. I'll update you when I have decided on a design and picked my exact colors. I think this is my favorite part of starting a project...
