TV crochet of the best kind. Making circles in faded colors. My yarn scraps are slowly vanishing into rows of multicolored circles which is very satisfying. That was the reason behind this project. To dig into my stash of wool and acrylics... It is waaaaay to big. I think a stripy blanket would have made more of a dent quicker in my stash, but I am so in love with this motions and enjoying every moment of it.
It looks like I have a great love of blues and pinks, need to add some more yellows and browns. Emmy Bo adds a circle or two every now and then but mostly it is my hands working on this project. Now I have 80. I think I need 80 more.
I'm still pondering what to do when turning these lovelies into squares. I'm thinking one row of white followed by denim blue. Or earthy brown. Or lightest shade of grey.

I am sure it will be beautiful either way. And I think by the time you are going to put them together you will SEE what color you need.
ReplyDeleteI am also addicted to making squares or circles in a square.
Have a perfect Saturday
So pretty!! I'm working on some pink circles at the moment, and I'm loving seeing the pile of them grow!! And I agree - lovely to work on whilst watching TV 😊

ReplyDeleteI love the idea of crocheting a boxful of circles. What a great way to use up all the little balls of yarn left from projects.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! As well as the basket they are in, would love a closer look at it. : ) So special to have those circles added by your daughter. Look forward to seeing it's progression.
