A great satisfaction

You all know I have a weak spot for laundry (look here, here and here...). As much as I can hate the big mountains of it, I find it incredibly satisfying to dive into that pile and just run one load after another and hang it all up on my clothes line. After it is all dry, it is a joy to fold it. No creases, no wrinkles. Just flat and fresh smelling clean crisp sheets. I pile them up and put them away. Mission accomplished! Great satisfaction indeed!!!

Laundry is that type of chore where you actually can start and finish something in a short time span. And you see results. You feel on top of things, in control. Until the next day, when the laundry basket is just as full and you have to start all over again. :)

  1. I wish I was this positive but we don't seem to have the weather to hang ours out to dry!

  2. You are so right, Annette.
Sometimes the bin is empty, but most of the time it explodes.

  3. My favorite chore in warm weather season, hanging the laundry out, in fact I have two long lines filled now. With children it is a never ending chore! ; D

  9. Warm breezy days and washing are a delight, it's the wet ones with no tumble dryer that get me :-)
