Playing catch up

While weaving in some ends on my blanket WiP, catching up as a go to save me from Weaving-In-Ends madness down the road, I'm letting my thoughts wander about 2016... The opportunities, the possibilities, the wants and the needs. And I'm quite excited as 2015 was a year I would like to add to a shoe box and tuck away far far back in the attic...

Well, it sounds worse than it is but let me put it this way: I've had better years. So while contemplating new exciting projects, new plans, new goals and new challenges I'm also playing a bit of catch up with things around the house, calendars and Holiday ignored To-Do's... I think first out will be to share some beautiful photos from our exotic trip to Mustique in the Caribbean. That will put everyone in a good mood no matter what weather or season in your location. Stay tuned to this place. I'm slowly coming around with my chores and am eager to share.

What a lovely blanket. Weaving ends is one of my least favorite things haha. But I'm looking forward seeing all your posts this year :-). Have a nice evening.

  4. I do understand what you're saying about the year 2015. It was probably the worst year healthwise I have ever experienced and I'm excited to move on into 2016 and see what it holds in store. My thought is it has to be better than last year!
    Blessings, Betsy

    1. The dreadful weaving in ends... I wish I had a little helper who could do it for me. Ha! But although it is the most boring job, it is very satisfying to see the result.
      Happy New Year!

  8. 2014 was the PITS! 2015 was rebuilding what came unraveled in 2014 (and had its own problems / stresses as well). 2016 feels as if a huge weight has been lifted from my life!

I love your newest blanket! I'm thinking I'll fashion my next afghan to be like yours <3

  9. Hi Annette,
I am so looking forward to 2016 being THE year for me as far as blogging and crochet is concerned. Last year was not very good for me especially health wise, so yes I am going to tuck it away in a shoe box too :)) Looking forward to seeing your pics from the Caribbean. I am going to start 2016 with pics of a flower show I recently attended and start the blog on a beautiful note.
    Have a lovely day. Hugs.
