I am the proudest Mama, have the biggest Mama smile and I have the greatest Mama need to brag about my oldest daughter Nelly.
Do you remember me teaching her how to crochet a granny square this spring? Well, the granny square has turned into a pillow. And I think it is gorgeous.
The front is done totally by Nelly, choice of colours, joining new yarn... Everything. I helped her a bit with the back and putting the pillow together.
My little girl's first crochet project. It will probably be a part of her interior design the rest of her life, reminding her about that first crochet project ever the summer 2010 when she was 8. I am simmering over of pride, I just can't help it!
Ciao!
Härlig! Påminner starkt om Sarah London i färgvalet :))
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful - she did a great job. :)
ReplyDeleteI think I too would be bursting with pride if my little one had made something as beautiful! Well done to your daughter, the colours are wonderful, it is so eyecatching and Im sure it will become a very special heirloom in years to come!

Congratulations to your daughter. Would you please tell her, she did a fantastic job. It's those first projects that make one the proudest. Does she have a second project in mind yet?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, Mom's things are nothing to sneeze at either.
Have a wonderful rest of the Day!

ReplyDeleteWow - an amazing pillow, especially for a first project and a 8 year old - Nellie (and Mum) should be extremely proud and grinning from ear to ear
