Southern France Part 1 - Color inspiration

It was great. Southern France was just fantastic. We spent the weekend in the small town Le Beausset, not far from the town Bandol on the coast. I totally fell in love with the shutters. I couldn't get enough of them. The colors. The contrast against the Mediterranean sand colored houses. The washed out colors and the bright brave ones. The whites and creams making the shutters really pop out.

This is for you, my dear blog readers. Enjoy and let me know if you too are instantly inspired to start on a Mediterranean crochet blanket. Stripes or squares? I am not sure where to start. I just know that I need to purchase some yarn again soon...

PS. Thanks for all your sweet comments on my Granny Stool.

  3. Oh! I just loved coloured houses and coloured shutters, there's something so friendly about them! I love the dark salmon walls of the house on the first picture with the contrast of pale turquoise shutters!
