Counting down for Christmas

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... Everywhere you go... ♪ ♫ ♪ ♪ ♫ ♪
In my world, the countdown has begun. Especially with the small ones of the family. Emmy Bo sticks a number on the kitchen window everyday until we reach 24, the chocolate calendars are opened every morning - before breakfast! The Swedish calender is watch on the computer everyday, great for keeping up with the Swedish language for the kids. And I have started to decorate. First out was the windows and the entrance. Next up will be indoors this week. Ginger cookie making and decorating. Saffron buns. Candles and stars in every window. The little Christmas village. Christmas flowers. Christmas pillows on the sofa of course! All will be magically transformed here with some help from the small ones.

Yesterday we had a lovely time on top of the mountain sledding. We baked rusks and the house is smelling from homemade. The Christmas music is playing non stop to everyone's delight but Jay's... He gets a bit annoyed after a while but we TOTALLY ignore it. :DI am loving every second of this build up. It is my favorite and my best. How about you? What is your favorite and your best about counting down to Christmas?
