A little parcel...
Michael Buble is spreading his smooth voice with his classic Christmas Carols. Pizza dinner is over and the kitchen is clean and tidy. We have moved into the living room. The kids are playing with new Lego from today's trip to the toy store. Candles are lit. The house is calm and nice.
I am sitting down in my IKEA Pello chair to make the last few squares for my Gypsy blanket, bringing a very special little parcel with me that arrived in the mail today. I have chosen to wait to open it until the calm evening hour. It is carefully wrapped with washi tape and cute classy string. It is the postcards I won over at Crejjtion last week.
It is funny how close you can feel to a person you have never met in real life. Opening this parcel was like opening a parcel from a good old friend. It almost felt like I recognized Maaike's handwriting, although I've never seen it before.
It made me jolly happy and I discovered some bonus cards to my delight. :D Thank you dear blog friend, thank you Maaike. ♥♥♥ Maybe our paths will cross one day, in Sweden or Netherlands or maybe in Canada or Switzerland. Or Tahiti, or Scotland or London. Who knows? That would actually be quite fun to run into each other at London airport and grab a Starbucks, wouldn't it?
Have a fabulous Saturday evening, I am certainly already having a fabulous evening over here.
Kärlek
Annette

Good Evening Annette, Aren't blogging friends wonderful. I have only been blogging since June, but I have met some wonderful people. I know I haven't met them physically, but you get a "feel" for someone when you read their blog. I hope you meet your blogging friend one day.... you never know, you might just be in the right place at the right time. Have a lovely evening. Best Wishes Daphne
