Dinosaur Quilt - VOILA!

I have made a dinosaur quilt.

My nephew Elyas is CRAAAAZY for dinosaurs and for quite some time I've been wanting to make him his special Dinosaur Cuddle Blankie. I found some great dinosaur prints at Fat Quarter Shop and now I am on a dinosaur roll... I wanted to mix in some gingham and dots to make it a bit stylish as well as fun and although I was worried that it would be boring I think I caught a Jackpot here. Dinosaurs and gingham actually work!

And when asking Jay for advice on the layout for this quilt, he thought the flowers were boring for a boy.  But as I love this Michael Miller flower print in lime green, I quickly declared that vegetarian dinosaurs LOOOOVE flowers... I hope Elyas will agree about that too... soon this quilt will arrive in Stockholm, Sweden... mailing it on Wednesday.

Quilt facts
✗ 46 x 46 inches / 117 x 117 cm
✗ The squares measures 7 inch each
✗ The border is 4 inches wide with 4 inch squares at the corners
✗ Backed with polar fleece
✗ I tied the quilt together with A blue Pearl Cotton thread
✗ Most fabric are new designer fabric purchased at Fat Quarter Shop mixed with an upcycled cotton gingham found in a market.

    thanks for your comment -my computer had a problem with the comments today and so I reloaded some sites. Must have mixed up something :) because I had to repeat some of them... I really like to follow your blog - although I don't do quilting myself I really like your results!

    Hi Annette!! Of course gingham goes with dinosaurs. In my world it goes with EVERYTHING :)
