Walking tunes

The weather is terrible here. Storms and rain, hale and chills. Brrrr... They say things will change Thursday. I say: THAT IS ABOUT TIME!
This week I am listening to this tune while walking. Perfect tempo. Perfect tune. I listen to it over and over and over again... Did you know this song has his 175 million hits on YouTube. I mean, that is incredible! "Dum do do dum do do dum do do dum... Somebody!"... It makes me walk and walk and walk...

Monday walking report: 2 x 15 minutes at work :D

Somebody That I Used To Know by GOTYE

Now and then I think of when we were together

Like when you said you felt so happy you could die
Told myself that you were right for me
But felt so lonely in your company
But that was love and it's an ache I still remember

You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness
Like resignation to the end
Always the end
So when we found that we could not make sense
Well you said that we would still be friends
But I'll admit that I was glad that it was over

But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened
And that we were nothing
And I don't even need your love
But you treat me like a stranger
And that feels so rough

You didn't have to stoop so low

Have your friends collect your records
And then change your number
I guess that I don't need that though
Now you're just somebody that I used to know

Now and then I think of all the times you screwed me over
But had me believing it was always something that I'd done
And I don't wanna live that way
Reading into every word you say
You said that you could let it go
And I wouldn't catch you hung up on somebody that you used to know...

But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened
And that we were nothing
And I don't even need your love
But you treat me like a stranger
And that feels so rough

You didn't have to stoop so low

Have your friends collect your records
And then change your number
I guess that I don't need that though
Now you're just somebody that I used to know

I used to know
That I used to know

Somebody...

  6. Better late than never, eh? I'm on board! Thank you so much for doing this. I have downloaded the song and I am headed out the door. I have not read all the walking posts but you got me with the "hips and waist - bottoms and thighs" benefit...all that crocheting has not been good for my shape. ;-)

In addition to Apple Blossom Dreams I have a fitness blog, my husband and daughter contribute as well. She graduates from college next week with a degree in "Health Education and Promotion" and she loves this kind of stuff. I have posted about your mission on our blog here today: http://fat2fit2phat.blogspot.com/2012/04/walking.html

Thank you again - it's just the push I needed.
