Hearts on a string --♥--♥--♥--

Thank you for all your support, encouragement and sweet words from yesterday's post. The latest report is that Mme Debonneville has hurt her spine and she is on bed rest. She has damaged her 3rd disk in her spinal cord and is awfully bruised... For how long she will be in hospital we still don't know. As soon as she is a little better we will visit with a big bowl of nice homemade soup, happy kids and homemade Get well cards. :D

And although things are a bit sad around here, I do continue to sew and crochet, make and decorate. I just have to. It fills me with joy and happiness.

I made this heart decoration last year and it looks fabulous on my green shutters. This year I have made a couple more. They bring love to my home and makes me happy when they are hung in a window spinning around... I might just bring this heart decoration for Mme Debonneville to cheer her up in hospital. Everyone needs a little Christmas spirit no matter where you are, right? And we all need love... That is what I will do. I'll give her our hearts to inspire her to not give up. :) Perfect - we are family of 5 - 5 hearts there is.

  6. I'm so sorry to her about your good friend, I hope she makes a good recovery, your visits to her will help this I'm sure. We have been blessed with some wonderful elderly neighbours over the years, like your friend they have given great gardening advice, well advice about life in general! It was a privilege to support and help them as they got older. This world would be a much nicer place if we all cared for out neighbours just a little bit more! Please let us know how she is doing. Take care in that snow :)
