Hexagon WiP - Ready, Set, Go!

So I've noticed some hexagons out there in blog land. Many actually. Looking very lovely indeed. And I just could't help myself to link on to the trend... Normally I am not a trendy girl at all but this 6 edged beuty I couldn't resist. :D

I have had lots of cotton scraps lying around for quite some time now. I have started on stripes, granny squares, rounds... Nothing felt right.

So hexagons it is. Many of them. Linked together in a messy, random color way. Right now I have 20 of them. I am not sure how big this piece of work will be but I will carry on for as long as I have scraps left.

Maybe it will become a pillow cover or maybe a baby blanket. Who knows, it might even become another great blanket for me. Hexagons are just perfect for using up scraps. So satisfying and quick. Not a million ends to fasten off or lots of changing colors. Just perfectly hexagonish joyfully fun. you should give it a try too.

I wish you all a Happy Thursday evening before Easter knock on our doors.

Ciao!
Annette

  1. WOW-za, I love this. What a fab idea. I have just the balls of stash to do something fun like this with.

Scurring around getting caught up on all that I've missed in blogland. Glad to be getting back in the groove again.

  4. I'm not a trendy girl either - I like to go against the trends and do my own thing but I do like your hexagons very muchly. Just make sure you're careful and don't injure yourself again with too much crochet! ;)
