Who would have known in the life b.c (before children) that this moment would be so magical, make my heart make somersaults, put a lost little tear in my eye and put a smile on my face from ear to ear? That a handmade cereal bowl made by my sons small hands would make everything in my life come together and just make sense.
"Especially made for you Mama. But you can only have cereal in it. No yarn, okay?..."
He sure knows his Mama... I bet I squeezed the life out of him with my hug. And now I want to start making pottery!

Oh, that handmade bowl from your son is so adorable. I remember the feeling when I was presented with those gorgeous heart-felt gifts!
ReplyDeleteYour blanket is looking good! At the moment, I'm doing 4-granny-square doilies with edgings! It's so rewarding and fun to do since I learnt the join-as-you-go method!
Have a lovely weekend!
Curious to see your granny square doilies. Will pop over and see what you are in the making of.

Oh how wonderful, I still have all the little bits and bobs my girls made for us over the years, can't bear to part with them. This bowl is fantastic though, like the comment that came with it - no yarn!
