Yarn therapy!

Yarn glorious yarn. I love having them around me. They make me happy. They calm me. If I have lost focus, they help me bring my focus back. Just a moment of sitting down with a basket of yarn, looking at them, organizing them, crochet a little bit, see how something beautiful grows out of the different colors of stitches... It is truly the best therapy and happy drug ever.  Today I am busy shipping yarn and it is pure joy to pack them in bags and boxes. I truly hope the receivers of this glorious Tilda yarn will enjoy their purchase. A happy yarny day it is. It makes me sing:

Yarn, glorious yarn!
I'm anxious to try it.
Three colors a day,
My favorite diet!

Just picture a Granny square.
Pink, purple or blue.
Oh, yarn,
Wonderful yarn,
Marvelous yarn,
Glorious yarn!!!

Melody "Food glorious food" from Ice Age.

  7. As soon as I have caught up with my blog reading I have a little corner that I am about to start my next project. Just to turn off from housework and the running about and then to create something that will be loved by the family is such reward. Take care. Chel x

  16. Beautiful yarn... I love your variation of "Food, Glorious Food." I don't recall the song in Ice Age, but I haven't seen that in a long time, but here is a bit of trivia for you... the song is originally from the musical "Oliver!", based on Charles Dickens' story, Oliver Twist. :D

Your yarn colors are absolutely glorious - so the song is a great fit here. Thanks for giving us a laugh this morning!
