I started on a new Nordic Shawl not long ago. I chose darker colors this time, more Swedish folklore tones like traditional dark Falu red, okra yellow, forest green and of course a Scandinavian blue and some details in pinks... I also added a couple of rows on the base to make it slightly bigger.
Today I am working on the edging and I should finish it within the ext day or two. It is coming with me to a market I am attending next Monday. A Christmas gift for someone I am hoping. Although I love it so much I am tempted to keep it. Maybe I'll over price it, to avoid having to part from it.

It's so festive! You may just have to hook up another one, for I'm sure if you have it for sale someone will snap it up! ; ))
ReplyDeleteWow. That looks lovely!! I Always see these beautiful shawls and then I want to make one myself, but I just don't have the time for it. Haha. Still a lot of projects to work on. Tomorrow starts the advent. Have a happy advent time, and a lovely evening.
