Chunky and soft...
I have hardly ever worked with Super Chunky yarn but when finding this super soft wool/poly mix yarn in the store, I could not resist it. I knew exactly what to make. Adore this greyish beige... When working with a natural yarn like this I feel I really connect with where it comes from. Bah bah sheep... :)
A new creation is evolving and it is so soft and cuddly, warm and nice. I am super excited about this one. It works up incredibly quick compared to what I'm used to. Very Scandinavian, as usual, and very classy. To be revealed soon.
Kärlek
Annette
PS Do you have any advice on a super soft chunky yarn to buy online? It should be chunky enough for a hook 8mm/L-11 (US) or 9mm/M-13 (US)...

That looks perfect, can't wait to see what you are making :)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week end.
Me gusta mucho y el color maravilloso, bss
ReplyDeleteLooks promising! I've not worked much with chunky yarns, hard to find except on-line, sorry no help. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThe stich looks wonderful. Looking forward to the big reveal! :)
ReplyDeleteLove it :)
ReplyDeleteI love that stitch! As for chunky yarn, I love Loops & Threads Charisma. You can find it on revelry. In all honesty, Loops & Threads is one of my favorite brands, soft and reasonably priced. Woollike isn't chunky but creates a wonderful fabric.
Kram //Petra
Hi Annette, I like Stylecraft Weekender super chunky (the label states 8mm hook is recommended) I have brought some but have yet to use it (just for my hoard, you know) It comes in nice colours and is not too expensive. I got it from Deramores and I think they have a sale on style craft yarn at the moment (and ship internationally) ((I don't work for them by the way)) :o) Sam xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stitch and the yarn looks great. I am looking forward to see your result.
ReplyDeleteDear greetings, Margaret
This looks so soft, as you know I'm working with some Chucky yarn myself at the moment....I'm loving the result but finding my hands really ache! :) xxx
ReplyDeleteAhh, now I see what you mean on your IG comment! It looks like lovely yarn, can't wait to see what you're up too.

Nydelig, som alltid:-) Gleder meg til å se hva det blir til slutt!! Klem ❤️
ReplyDeleteThat really is looking great. I've never worked with chunky yarn before...maybe I should give it a try soon.
