I'm adding a few blocks to my Circle In Square WiP. 99 squares have been joined so far. I still have quite a few to go before I'm happy with the size.
The clouds are lying thick outside, creating a grayish tone. Inside I have 3 restless kids on October break and a messy home, 3 cats making a mess and heaters running on high speed.
My love left on a business trip to the exotic little island Mustique in the Caribbean... What a contrast. He just called. He says it feels like coming home. He grew up in the Caribbean waters.
I think I'll take my kids to the mall for cake and sodas and some clothes shopping. That will spice up this grey day. A messy home can wait and even though I wish I could be in Mustique with Jay, it is pretty good to be here too. Mind the grey, October is still a beautiful month. One of my favorites of the year actually.

ReplyDeleteI hope you get some sun for your October break Annette :-) A bit of retail therapy sounds a great idea for a dull, especially if cake is involved!! Have a great weekend. x

ReplyDeleteNice! I like these kind of granny's that start with a circle.
ReplyDeleteOctober is one of my favourite months too :) But it's an odd one - moments of beauty mixed with the grey - definitely a month of contrasts!
