Sniffles, snow and playing with yarn

Oh my, we got so much snow last night! It must have been stormy because the windows facing north are covered with snow. I'm down with a nasty cold and when I say a nasty cold I mean real NASTY. It started on Saturday and I thought it would blow over but I think this nasty thing is peaking as of today. I feel totally under the weather, the fridge is empty and I think I unfortunately need to get out there and dig out my car to go shopping for some groceries...

Anyway. Enough about my sniffles. I might sip tea non stop throughout the day but I have also been playing around with a design for the Crochet Holiday In Greece that Nathaly at Studio Belovely is organizing. I have a few ideas up my sleeve and haven't really decided yet on what it will be... I think I'm leaning towards something Eco friendly... something that says less waste. I'll do some more playing around today and we'll see. My brain is kind of in a fog so it is a bit hard to turn on the design brain at the moment... I'm tempted to start a new Fun With Stripes baby blanket in happy candy colors... Just because it is so simple and soothing to just do basic stitches back and forth and the only design effort needed is to plan the color order... Well, lets get out there and shovel some snow. I need some fresh air anyway. I think it will do good and clear up my sinuses a bit.

  1. Hope you feel better soon...colds are miserable. Crochet/knitting and tea are my prescription.
