Sweden Part 2 - Fishing
We did a lot of fishing from the dock. A few perches every day was on the nibble menu.
My children loved it. My husband loved it even more. I think he loved it the most at night when he went out in the boat with my brothers. The didn't get a single fish but he said watching the sun go down in the mirror flat water was incredible. The silence. To be one with nature. Just present. Alive. Happiness that is.
Kärlek

Vakre bilder! Jeg elsker Sverige om sommeren, og bildene dine minner om barndommen da vi var i Sverige hver sommer:-)
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely happy family photos of what was obviously a great holiday Annette!
ReplyDeleteThat last photo is stunning, and reflects the peace and stillness that there must have been - its wonderful.

Wow, what happy holiday pictures Annette! I love the Sweden stories even more now I am in Canada... And your quilt is absolutely amazing! I love the simple vintage design of it.

Vilken härlig semester ni verkar ha!
ReplyDeleteHi Annette!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfectly beautiful day (the sky was so blue!) and fresh fish for dinner makes it even better!
P.S. Thank you for all of your sweet comments! And I use #5 perle cotton for my hand quilting.
Vilka härliga bilder. Och nystekt abborre som är sååå gott.
ReplyDeleteRoligt att ni hade tur med vädret och kunde bada och njuta av svensk sommar när den är som bäst.
