Lea's quilt. Adorable with ginghams and flowers in pink and blue. Well, I got a bit obsessed with the theme and made another quilt but this time with green as an accompanied color. I am calling this Grace's Quilt.
I backed it with fleece that is patched up half way with some scraps from the quilt top. I have to say that I really do love making these baby quilts with the fleece backing. They are so cuddly.
This quilt measures 33 x 33 inches (84 x 84 cm) and is perfect for the stroller, a car seat or a crib. It is made from recycled fabric I have thrifted on markets or other blog friends like Popetotrora (again, the same fabric as in Lea's quilt - oooh I love this fabric!) mixed up with some new designer fabric. I just think that the mix of old and new gives a patchwork a special twist. I would like to call it a My Rose Valley twist if I may...
ETSY shop. So, I am a bit busy... I am filling up shop and preparing a give away for the big public announcement in a few days. See you next time.
