The trip

We went to Barcelona. You  might I have thought:
"Oh, walking the small streets, looking at great architecture, eating tapas and walk hand in hand...".
No no no...
We went on the GP track in Catalunya, 1 hour from Barcelona.
I did my daily walks around the track (about 1 1/2 hour a day :D) watching the Super Motos
swisching by in speeds like 280 km/hour.
I hung out by our camping tent doing my crochet and paper piecing my hexagons between the races.
Sometimes in the sun chair, sometimes in the boot of the car when it got too windy
and my hexies flew away across the parking lot.
Jay was doing his thing. On his bike, on the track, mechanics between the sessions.
We were chatting. Being. Together. Alone.
His hobby is a little bit more time - money - space consuming than mine... :D
But whatever makes you tick... It is important to have your thing.
At night we went out for tapas dinners and slept in a nice hotel watching movies dubbed in Spanish.
It was great. I want to do this again. And again. And again...
There he is, number 199...

The cooler became an excellent table for my crafty bits... And I could stretch out my pale legs
in the sun a bit...Color me happy... The sun and my hexagons. :D

  5. Looks like you both enjoyed yourselves! It's nice to get away for a bit isn't it? I'm loving those hexagons. I have never tried them. Hmmmm, now I'm curious. What a great way to use up small scraps.
