In Spain with Jay, I ended up walking around the track every day which also was a new experience, stopping every now and then when "the boys" came swisching around the corner on their Super Motos.
Today was a fantastic walk. I decided to walk uphill. Up, up, up. With a quick pace I soon got my heart rate up and I quickly got warm and all rosy of my cheeks. Look at this. :DWith the latest pop music in my ears I tucked my bottom and belly button in and really worked those leg muscles. "I am sexy and I know it.... dam dam dam dam..." The endorphins started to flow and I kept my rapid pace with a big smile on my face. I was on a walking high!!! So nice.
And I bumped into a patchwork. Right there, next to the road. How surprising is that? A patchwork made of awnings to cover the wood pile at a farmers house. So colorful and charming. :D
With my favorite music in my ears I danced and fooled around down the field before coming back home. I came home full of energy and feel good inside.
I am so happy I started this project. I am so happy you have joined in. Tomorrow we weigh in and take some new measurements. How are you doing? What is your trick to make this really fun? Any tips on great walking tunes or other things to make your walk a special place? I hope you are all doing well. I hope you are all enjoying this because I am absolutely enjoying this. Tomorrow is reporting day. I am very proud to sign in with mine and I am looking forward to see yours. :D
Next week is Week 5... Lets keep on walking girls. March will be great walking month, I can feel it!
Kärlek
Annette
hehe glad you took advantage of the sun, as it is now very grey here :(
ReplyDeleteLove that patchwork!!
The blossom may be plum, because I have a new plum tree and the blossom looks the same?
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Wow, looks like a great walk and lovely day. Todays a bit blah here to enjoy a nice walk. Maybe tomorrow! Thanks for sharing these great photos
ReplyDeleteYou look great and your pictures as well :)
ReplyDeleteAfter not being able to walk a lot last week, I hope to have more time next week. BUT I went running again for 25 minutes and I just love it - I miss it so much when I can't do it. My husband and I sometimes go for a walk together in the morning before he goes to work...
Åh, vilka härliga soliga vår- och blomsterbilder!! Här var våren på väg men tog ett steg tillbaka när det plötsligt kom snö igen inatt. :-(
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you spent a very happy day.
ReplyDeleteA hug

I took 67,236+ steps this week! I feel fantastic and proud to get all this walking done in pretty bad weather for Northern California...
ReplyDeleteKnus, Lisbeth.
Hi Annette! Great pictures of your walk! This week I walked 3hours and 15 min, so a slight improvement. I got a new app. for my IPhone called MotionX, which tracks all your steps, calories burned, and even has an alarm if you have been sitting still too long. It's fun!

Hello fellow walkers.
ReplyDeleteI am now starting my week 3 and I wanted to share that I walked a total of 70,634 steps in week 2.U haven't seen any comments from walkers for awhile. How are you all doing?
Lisbeth.
Hello. 70 000 + steps! Wow. You are doing fantastic girl. That is a great goal to aim for as it is the 10 000 steps a day that is recommended for a healthy life.
DeleteMany seem to have dropped out on their reports since Week 4 actually, I am not sure why. Maybe life came in the way. And I haven't been great at keeping up with my walking posts either so I guess we have all fallen off the wagon a bit. I'll pick it up though. I will write a post this week to cheer everyone on and to encourage them to send in reports again. Thanks for pushing me a bit Lisbeth. Have a lovely walking day. :)
Annette
I am not seeing any comments or any response to my reporting and just wondering what is going on?
ReplyDeleteLisbeth.
Hello dear. Sorry but life has distracted me a bit from the Come Walk With Me project. With a big family visit, Easter and kids home from school I guess you can say I fell off the wagon a bit.
DeleteI am looking forward to start walking again this week, week 7 in my challenge. So keep walking Lisbeth. Keep writing your walking diary. I am even if I haven't had the spirit or energy to keep up with my walking posts. They will return though, be so sure. :D
