I finished my vacation project... Yet another pillow. So when I stood there ready to take a "pillow portrait" for a blog post (coming soon - promise!!! Sneak peak? It is right there in the right pile... See it?) I thought about all the pillows in the house that I have made. While Jay was packing his Super Moto truck for his upcoming motorcycle trip, I started to run in and out with piles of pillows.
"What on earth are you doing???!!!"
Well, my love... I often ask myself the same thing when taking pictures of a crazy quilt top in the middle of a storm or when I hang vintage sheets in the apple trees or when I have my daughter run around with a quilt in circles in the garden until she gets so dizzy she can't even stand straight anymore... Or when I drag all the pillows in the house outside to pile them up on two chairs in a perfect light for a portrait... But this is completely normal, right? Or....
I am starting to wonder if I may have enough pillows soon... Naaaahhhh. I want even more. :D Call me nuts!!!

Your pretty pillows speak of the comforts of home. I totally understand about trying to get the perfect light. I've often wondered what my neighbors think as I'm out taking photos in my yard. Looking forward to your pillow portrait. :-)

ReplyDeletelol! Don't worry you're not alone, I also think it's completely normal to have about 10 dozen cushions and to cart them all outside for a photo, nothing wrong with that! ;)
