So many things I want to do. So many ideas in my head. So many things happening all the time. So little time to squeeze it all in. Too many WiPs, too many happenings in the calendar, too many hours spent cleaning and washing... cooking and caring...
So when I sit down I don't know where to start, which WiP to choose, what idea to add to my note book... If the week only had 8 days... Just for a few weeks ahead for me to catch up. One more 24 hour day with no distraction, maybe two or three 24 hour days with no distraction. And probably with terrible rain... I could really need that. To get things going here. I think this is called creative stress... It sounds kind of positive... but feels kind of frustrating...
Kärlek
Annette

I think we all feel a bit like that. You will get it all done, just take a deep breath, Hugs,

I so feel the same every day! At least we are getting the most out of life, right?! xo
ReplyDeleteDecisions decisions. :o) Rainy days make my choices a little be easier, because I know I am stuck indoors and can pick from one of my w.i.p.s. :o) Your crochet is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean! The summer energy creates lots of new ideas and so many other things to do! it is kind of frustrating. Heather x
ReplyDeleteIt's like reading my own story! Today I started to organise my working space (again). That works for me when I have to many things and ideas on my mind.
ReplyDeleteBut still, I could use an extra day too.
Greetings from Ellebel!
Sounds all too familiar.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny that you are in Switzerland and I am on the east coast of the U.S. but this post clearly says that we have a lot of things in common - I could have written the same thing!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, I am in exactly the same situation.
ReplyDeleteIn my case because children are in summer time at school and in June they finish 1 hour earlier, work travelling, weekend events, outings to enjoy the weather, summer organising for when the kids are on holidays. . . .and I could go on.....lots of things happening but little crafting time !
Hope you find a little bit of 'me' time that we all need,
xEva
Half way across the world but we all share so much in common. What you say here sounds just like something I would say. I hope it doesn't cause you to "freeze" up into inaction. I'm new here your blog is just looks like something yummy to eat!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly. how. you. feel. Hang in there.

I know the feeling!
ReplyDeleteI completely understand you, I think in fact, I've just been though the same thing myself! It must be something about the time of year or something! I always wish there was a way to stop time for everyone except me, just for a bit, to give me a chance to catch up! You are right that it's a nice problem to have 'too many' ideas, but it can be as paralysing as no ideas sometimes. Hang in there sweet Anette, it'll pass and you'll be off and away again very soon.

Yep, I know the feeling too....hang in there!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean. I always think if only someone could wave a wand and get me on top of the household stuff then I could keep it there; or if only someone could look after Little Son for a week my husband and I could storm through the To Do list. But as it never is going to happen I usually have a melt down, then some crocheting and then pull myself together!! Lily. xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Annette,
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean! The day is always too short for me as well with work, my family and the hobbies I have. You have got some lovely granny squares laying on your table and do I spot a wrap scarf? It looks very pretty!
Hope you will find some time! Perhaps in the garden enjoying the sun as well :-)
Happy week!

I know how you feel. I think in the summer months I have less time for some reason. Maybe it's because any spare time is taken for entertaining the kids and taking them out instead of them sitting at the computer or other gadget! I've decided that after a week of work, I deserve one day in the weekend where I want to be left alone and decorate instead of just doing the housework and at the end of it not see any difference (the problem with teenage kids!). Yes I need an extra 24 hours per week, definitely! Take care. Chel x
ReplyDeleteSå där är det oftam tycker jag. Så mycket man vill göra och så lite tid. Ibland blir det liksom så mycket att man inte gör nåt alls istället. :)
