The largest bouquet of flowers I've ever received. In some of my favorite colors. A collection of gorgeous artwork made by little hands, now decorating my walls. The sunniest day in a long time. Happy kids and a loving husband. This afternoon I think I'll bake a cake. For me! My home is relatively clean... No attention needed. That makes for a day of good fun. Some crochet. In the sun. Outside. And a simple dinner requesting no efforts. That is how I will spend my day.
Happy Mother's Day all mothers out there. You're doing a great job! You are worth coffee and cake and some time to do whatever YOU want to do. Do it!
