Magical Snow!
First there was a little bit of snow and it was nice. Then more snow came and that was nice too. And then the big snow storm came... And it is beautiful. Absolutely magical. Winter Wonderland as we haven't seen it in years. It is truly amazing! Looking at these pictures I find it hard to believe I will soon once again sit on that bench in shorts and T-shirt sipping my coffee on a sunny day... What a contrast.

Love!!! Much more than us and we had it pretty bad! x
ReplyDeleteSomething happened to me in the last couple of years which means I can no longer enjoy snow, I just look at and feel 'oh no!' . I just think of the slushy dirty ice that will be coming soon, the leaky boots, the slipping and sliding about that is so terrifying as well as fear that the cars will slide off the road into you. I guess it's since a couple of years ago that we had the longest winter ever and it was all a bit desperate. We haven't had any snow here yet this winter and I'm so glad, I find it really miserable thinking about the poor birds and foxes out there in the cold. Everything just comes to a stand-still for us, but they freeze their little socks off and can't even find water. Horrible. Snow makes me shudder! Sorry.
ReplyDeleteWauw Annette, I'm so jealous of you. We have had a little bit of snow here in the Netherlands but it was only enough to fall of my bike. I hope you enjoy it and have a nice weekend (what's left of it haha)
ReplyDeleteLovely greetings,

Looks stunning. We have had a slight dusting of snow the last 2 nights, but it has disappeared by mid morning. But it's so cold - the wind is evil! x

ReplyDeleteWow, you really have had snow rather than our little dusting! I love your pegs on the washing line - all redundant until short wearing weather. Take care x
ReplyDeleteSo magical! A beautiful winter wonderland. We so rarely see such snowfalls here. Enjoy and stay warm!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy! We are getting a big snowstorm in NY right now as I type this :) It really is stunning isn't it? I love taking walks when it's snowing like that. There really is something beautiful about the quietness that takes over and knowing that when it all melts, it seeps back into the Earth, nurturing all of the plants. Lovely photos :)
ReplyDeleteUau,quanto gelo amiga!! Boa semana.Beijo.Valéria.

How beautiful! You take me back to my one and only snow holiday, when we woke up to similar, and the light an eerie blue. Fantastic, and scary at the same time,
