So the base paint is now on all the pieces and I can finally start with the blue.
It is not easy to choose a colour and I was a bit nervous about how it would come out in reality. I mean the little sample square tells you nothing really...
But I am loving this. Now the top piece and drawers are all done with the first coat of the blue. My bottom piece still needs a little bit of work, a new list and some spackling but I hope all pieces will be as blue as the top very soon (after my brother and his family departs, we have had the house full of small and big people for a while).
I am not sure about the inside of the cabinet... Shall I paint it or not? And if I choose to paint it, shall I paint it blue or just white? I have a new back for the top piece and the plan is to dress it with flower patterned fabric in blue and pink, vintage style kind of. What do you think. This is what the inside looks like with the drawers in.
