Do you ever wonder what it looks like behind the scene of a staged photo? Well, today I am doing a photo shoot for my upcoming Pretty Heart Tutorial and this is what it looks like when preparing. Finding a light and good spot in the house (today that is on the sofa in my living room), gathering my stuff (canvas board, hearts made by my daughter, yarn and supplies), clearing the most necessary close by and letting all the mess around that wont show in the picture remain (like tons of Pet Shops who has invaded my window sill). This is reality blogging. I think I was lucky this time as my pretty throws are there to pimp up this picture. :D
Happy Thursday
Kärlek
Annette
Hoping you'll a nice shot.
ReplyDeleteLast week, I had the opportunity to be involved in photoshoots for two local magazines - interesting experience! And to learn how much the photo actually differs from what really usually happens!
Your throw is so lovely I love the colours and the hearts are so cute.
ReplyDeleteRosezeeta.
a real home with real people in!!!!
ReplyDeletehave a good day, xxx Ale
LOL!! Yes our photo studios are so professional aren't they? ;-) Mine is in our bedroom just at the foot end of the bed, it has the best light in the house! I know a blogger who takes all her pics in her bathroom next to the tub as this has the best light. Isn't that hilarious!!

I like this picture! :-) Most of the times my house seems like this: yarns and unfinished projects everywhere, toys of my children and all the other stuff... And wow, I like your granny-blanket!
ReplyDeleteThe pretty throws are gorgeous. I think we all use the trick of hiding our messy stuff when we take photos for our blogs. Looking forward to the tutorial.
ReplyDeletePretty throws indeed! You have a lovely home. I love the border on your blanket, it's so effective. And the patchwork is beautiful xxx
ReplyDeleteOooo....I love your quilt with the large blocks!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your tutorial!
I do love, love that gypsy blanket of yours. It is my all time favourite of all the crochet blankets I have ever seen. Makes me want to crochet one of my very own! Well done you, Anette!
ReplyDeleteGood Afternoon Annette, My photos are exactly the same, I have bits and pieces of my daily life scattered around the kitchen. It is marvellous having a zoom lense....don't you just love it!
ReplyDeleteBest Wishes
Daphne
I really enjoyed this post. It's good to see the reality although it still looks lovely to me. We have moshi monsters here on my window sills! The crochet hearts are lovely x
ReplyDeleteJag brukar göra så där ibland också. Visa "sanningen" hur det ser ut utanför den tjusiga bilden man visar på bloggen. :)
ReplyDeleteVäldigt söta hjärtan du virkat där, föresten.
Keeping it real! Love it!
ReplyDeletexo Kris
lol!
ReplyDeleteGlad its not just me! My daughter often says to me that our house doesnt look the same house when she sees the blog photos! Nothing like shoving everything else out of the way whilst you take your pics!!!!!
Looking forward to the hearts tutorial.
Gill xx
All the photos shoots at my house are a mess, that is life isn't it?

I like this post today. It makes me feel like a member of your lovely family or a very close friend of you because you invited me to look behind the scene :) - Many thanks again for sharing your thoughts which are sometimes so similar to mine :)
ReplyDeleteLOL, sometimes when my daughter looks at the photos on my blog, she says " where did you hide the mess "
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend :)
Your throws are very pretty and colorful as is your hearts... Lovely HOME... Hugs Judy
ReplyDeleteWow, my daughter immediately checked all Pet Shops on your window sill! And yes... it is reality :) And I like to see real life :) Happy weekend, Jolana
ReplyDeleteI love this! My eye went right for the yarn goodness and I didn't even notice the toys until you said something! :D I wish I could 'not see' the toys in my own house... lol
ReplyDeleteThe real life photos are the best! Your real life is colorful and happy. :-D
