Behind the scenes

Do you ever wonder what it looks like behind the scene of a staged photo? Well, today I am doing a photo shoot for my upcoming Pretty Heart Tutorial and this is what it looks like when preparing. Finding a light and good spot in the house (today that is on the sofa in my living room), gathering my stuff (canvas board, hearts made by my daughter, yarn and supplies), clearing the most necessary close by and letting all the mess around that wont show in the picture remain (like tons of Pet Shops who has invaded my window sill). This is reality blogging. I think I was lucky this time as my pretty throws are there to pimp up this picture. :D

Happy Thursday

  1. Hoping you'll a nice shot.
Last week, I had the opportunity to be involved in photoshoots for two local magazines - interesting experience! And to learn how much the photo actually differs from what really usually happens!

  4. LOL!! Yes our photo studios are so professional aren't they? ;-) Mine is in our bedroom just at the foot end of the bed, it has the best light in the house! I know a blogger who takes all her pics in her bathroom next to the tub as this has the best light. Isn't that hilarious!!

  5. I like this picture! :-) Most of the times my house seems like this: yarns and unfinished projects everywhere, toys of my children and all the other stuff... And wow, I like your granny-blanket!

  6. The pretty throws are gorgeous. I think we all use the trick of hiding our messy stuff when we take photos for our blogs. Looking forward to the tutorial.

  12. Jag brukar göra så där ibland också. Visa "sanningen" hur det ser ut utanför den tjusiga bilden man visar på bloggen. :)

Väldigt söta hjärtan du virkat där, föresten.
